(a private limited company incorporated in Saint Christopher and Nevis under Company No. 07 of 2026, registered office Bath Village, St. John, Nevis) ("we," "us," "our," or "SKN Transit"), collects and uses your personal information when you use the SKN Transit mobile application and related services (the "App"). We are the controller of your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to provide the App:
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Travel and booking information — the routes and sailings you book, travel dates, passenger details, and any preferences you provide.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment service providers; we receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details, but we do not collect or store your full card number.
- Verification information — where required, a government-issued ID, solely to verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- Content you submit — feedback, ratings, and messages to support.
- Device and usage information — basic technical data such as device type, app version, and how you use the App, used to keep it secure and working.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only to operate the App and provide the service you have asked for — creating and securing your account, processing your ticket purchases and payments, providing customer support, preventing fraud and abuse, and meeting our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not use your information for any purpose that is incompatible with these.
4. We Do Not Use Your Data for Advertising
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or ad networks for their marketing. We do not build advertising profiles of you and we do not engage in cross-app behavioural ad targeting.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with the parties we need to run the App, and only to the extent necessary:
- Ferry operators — the operator of the sailing you book, so they can fulfil your ticket and carry you.
- Payment service providers — our licensed payment partners, to process your payment securely.
- Service providers — trusted vendors who host and support the App under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and regulatory authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law or to protect against fraud or harm.
None of these parties is permitted to use your information for their own marketing. We may also transfer information as part of a business reorganisation, subject to this Policy.
6. Payments
Payments are handled by independent, licensed payment service providers under their own terms and security standards. We do not store your full card details. Card data is handled within the providers' PCI-compliant systems.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use only the limited cookies and analytics necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad-tracking technologies.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the App. Transaction and verification records are retained for longer where required by applicable financial and anti-money-laundering law, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any material breach as required by law.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also close your account at any time.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
12. International Transfers
Your information may be processed by our service providers in locations outside Saint Christopher and Nevis. Where it is, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this Policy.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above, and where the changes are material we will notify you through the App or by email before they take effect.
