How it works
- Book before you fly. Pick your resort and vehicle grade in the app and the fare is fixed at that number. No meter, no negotiating at the kerb after a long flight.
- Your driver meets the flight. Arrivals are tracked, so a delayed flight does not lose you the car.
- Pay the driver. SKN Transit does not take payment for transfers. You settle with the driver, in US or EC dollars.
- The return leg is the same fare. Book the trip back to SKB at the same time and it is the same price in reverse.
Fixed-route shuttles
Shared shuttles run set routes on a timetable rather than door to door, which makes them the cheap way to move between the beach, town and the airport if your timing is flexible.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. An economy taxi seats one to four passengers for the same fare, so a couple pays what a family of four pays. Luggage is included, and children under five ride free.
Which airport do transfers run from?
Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) in Basseterre, the main airport on St. Kitts. Transfers run in both directions, so the same fare takes you back for your flight home.
Do I need to book an airport transfer in advance?
You do not have to, since taxis meet arriving flights, but booking ahead fixes the price before you travel and means a driver is waiting with your name rather than you joining a queue after a long flight.
Are St. Kitts taxi fares fixed?
Yes. Taxi fares here are set by route, not by meter, which is why they can be published in advance. Agree the fare and the currency before you get in, and remember most drivers quote in US dollars.
Can a transfer take me to the ferry for Nevis?
Yes. Ask for the Basseterre ferry terminal and check the sailing time first, because the last boat leaves earlier than most people expect.
